Felix & Oscar

Felix & Oscar
11x14
Watercolor/Gauche

I finished this commission painting of two labs named Felix and Oscar. It was very enjoyable to paint them and I hope the owners love it.

I will be very busy in the next few weeks, not just because Christmas is upon us, but because my youngest daughter is getting married in a 3 weeks. So please forgive me if I do not post for awhile.

Good job; they will love it.
You are too young to have a daughter getting married! (Tell her I said that - LOL). Try not to stress out - and have a wonderful time.
First of all, congrats on your daughter's upcoming wedding. Second, your painting of the labs turned out beautiful. The recipient will be thrilled I'm sure.

Thanks Deb for thinking I was tooo young to have a daughter getting married ;) No stress here, 'cause it is her production.I just do as I am told LOL

Gretchen, thank you for the well wishes.

As for the painting...I am very happy how it turned out and hope to do more doggie portraits in the future.

Well done! They turned out beautifully! I hope the wedding turns out beautifully, too. I agree with Deb - unless your daughter is marrying very young, you are too young to have a daughter old enough to marry (of course, I think they all should wait until they are 25 before even considering it).

Thanks Rhonda. It is my baby (of 3 girls)getting married and yes she is young (22). Even though I like the groom I do wish that they would wait, but I can't fight "Love". I am sure we all have gone against our own mom's wishes when we were young and thought we could do it all :-)
